Kathy San Miguel, Esq., is a co-founder and managing director of San Miguel Attorneys, P.C. A native of Monterrey, Nuevo León, she earned her law degree in 2002 from the School of Law and Social Sciences and the College of Criminology at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Her dedication to service, leadership, and community support developed at an early age thanks to the influence of her parents, Mrs. Martha Gómez and trial attorney Jesús Alejandro Mena.
Together with her husband, Alan San Miguel, J.D., she founded San Miguel Attorneys, P.C., in Houston, Texas, in 2010. Since then, she has played a key role in the firm’s growth and development, overseeing its administration and day-to-day operations. Her experience and leadership have helped build an organization focused on helping entrepreneurs and business owners protect, strengthen, and grow their companies through services in the areas of corporate law, contracts, commercial litigation, and business consulting.
Committed to professional and community development, Kathy also helped found the Colegio de Abogados Regiomontanos, A.C., and the Asociación Contra la Violencia Doméstica, A.C., initiatives aimed at fostering legal collaboration and making a positive impact on society.
Outside the office, Kathy enjoys spending time with her children, Alan, Sebastián, and Jackie, and is actively involved in their lives. She’s also passionate about singing, dancing, and cooking with her family! She currently lives in The Woodlands, Texas, where she continues to devote her time to her family, her community, and the firm’s growth.
